Nasty Ratz exploded onto the Prague rock scene in 2012, quickly earning a reputation as the unapologetic lovechild of KISS and Guns N’ Roses. Fueled by raw energy, attitude, and a relentless drive, the band wasted no time making noise — sharing stages across Europe with some of their biggest inspirations within months of forming.
Their debut EP I Don’t Wanna Care (2013, Leviathan Records), featuring Serpenth (Belphegor) on bass, sold out fast and has since become a sought-after collector’s item. Riding that momentum, the band crowdfunded their first full-length album First Bite (2015), which led to a multi-album deal with Sleaszy Rider Records and opened the door to a global audience.
A constant presence on the European live circuit, Nasty Ratz built their name through high-energy performances — whether headlining or sharing the stage with international acts. Their 2017 single Price Of Love, produced by the legendary Beau Hill, marked a turning point, cementing their place in the modern hard rock scene.
The follow-up album Second Chance (2019) delivered a string of standout singles, including Poetic Justice, Against The World, and Watch Your Back, earning strong international reviews and expanding their fanbase. Along the way, the band gained media attention from outlets such as Classic Rock, Power Play, and even Playboy, alongside regular appearances on rock-focused radio and TV.
In 2024, Nasty Ratz entered a bold new chapter with their third album Third Cut. Produced in part by Martin Sweet (Crashdïet), the record combines their signature sleaze-driven sound with a sharper, more mature edge. Featuring guest appearances from Swan Hellion (BlackRain) and Martin Čupka (John Wolfhooker), the album delivers both attitude and depth, highlighted by tracks like WINGS and Demons.
2026 marks another milestone year as the band welcomes new drummer Paul Ale and continues to bring their explosive live show to stages across Europe and the UK.
Blending sleaze, hard rock, and glam metal with modern firepower, Nasty Ratz stands as one of the most driven and authentic acts in today’s scene — a band that doesn’t just play rock’n’roll, but lives it.
